end of the quarter

ok, so today is technically my last day of classes. I have a final tomorrow morning and one next friday at 7pm. but i have a wonderfully open and free week coming up! i am happy that this quarter went well and that i was able to get some good grades and get some really important things done such as becoming an RA, getting into the school of education, registering for my classes for next quarter, etc, etc, etc. I have been having a blast living in this apartment and am going to miss being here with my friends, but i will be on campus next year in Gam, so that will be cool, and im positive that im going to hang out with my friends just as much and hopefully more than i do now! next quarter is going to be carazay busy for me, but im sure that ill manage.

last weekend i visited home and my sister came in from DC, and it was great to see her, and also great to see my other sister and her baby again. I wrote and preformed a song for baby Audrey and my sister Kate loved it and my whole family was crying (man those Parkers cry at ANYTHING! haha, but so do i, a true Parker at heart!) and it was really fun. then on Sunday, we all wen tto a cookout at my aunts house, and two of my aunts from NC came up for the weekend, so it was great to see them. We all decided to figure out how any people are in the family, so we counted up all my mom's brothers and sisters, their spouses, their kids, the kid's spouses, and the kid's kids. There area grand total of 97 people on my mom's side of the family, and that's not even including my grandma and grandpa that have died already. So, after we heard that there are 97 people in the family, my cousin Reva said that we should figure out who will be the 100th family member, so we figured that two of my cousins are having babies in November, and then after that, my cousin Gina is marrying Chuck. Chuck is lucky number 100!!! Reva and i want to find out the number of everyone win our family from the oldest member to the newest member and make t-shirts with every one's number on them and pass them out at a family reunion, wouldn't that be awesome?! haha

fast forward to today, i went to bed last night at 9 and got up this morning at 730, went to kroger, did some laundry, got my website working for computer class tonight, and now im tired, so im gonna take a nap, or try to at least. thanks for your time!

oh what a day

oh man, this day has surely been a roller coaster, it started off with the horrible feelings that i was once again slipping through the cracks of ohio university's system..but eventually i conquered and got into the classes that i needed!!! so i was really excited after that! and then, to make things even better, i got my placement for what dorm i will be RAing in next year, GAM!!!!!!! it was my number one choice and well, i guess that someone loves me because i got placed there! im on the same floor that abby and i lived on last year, 3rd, and ill be in room 354, my friends old room :) so i am super stoked about all that stuff....later tonight i went to my friend's program at brown hall, it was self-defense for women, and it was really fun. officer brandon was hilarious and really great. Sam and i had a blast being partners and threatening each other with our menacing moves!! haha..this is a short one, i want to try and see if i can maybe get a song together to sing at coffee house this friday at HAWKEN!!!!! of all the 11+ years i have been going to coffee houses, i have no done one thing because ive been too shy, who knows, maybe this time itll be different....

ooh, ive also gotten my braces off and got to see my niece last week, she is tooooooo cute!

monday monday

so here is a picture of my new baby niece!!! i am so excited to see her! she was born last Monday, and i will be seeing her on wednesday! i am way excited. to add to the excitement that will surely happen on wednesday is the ever anticipated day of getting my braces off!!! i am so stoked to finally be able to do the many things that my braces have surely hindered or just made damn annoying such as eating, kissing, talking, sining, living haha....aaaaaanyways, so thatll happen on wendesday morning. Then i get to see my little niece Audrey and then i have to go back to the orthodontist to get my retainer, and the fun begins all over again! haha. Then i am surprising my mom with an ipod that one of my friends so graciously donated to the cause of the love between mother and daughter. I cant wait to see her face! so that happens tomorrow night AS SOON AS I GET HOME!!! she also doesn't know that i am getting my braces off, another great surprise for her when she comes home from work on wednesday, its just going to be an amazing week :)
for now, i am trying to figure out my schedule for next quarter and anxiously awaiting that email taht will offer me an RA position...im a little nervous as to where they will place me, but who knows, maybe things will be in my favor for once:) well, i should really get my computer assignment done tonight and then go to bed since i have to wake up early, observe, work my last day of KoC *tear* and drive home!!!!! itll be a long day to say the least!
